The vestibular system is located in your inner ear and works with connections in your brain to help control your balance and eye movements. Disease, aging and injury can all result in dysfunction of this system. Often patients will have no reason for dysfunction but may wake up with sudden spinning or a feeling of being “off“ may gradually develop.
