Custom Bracing

Karina is trained in fitting for custom and off-the-shelf braces for othopeadic injuries. Whether you’re having problems with your ankle, knee, shoulder, elbow or wrist, she will make sure the brace is a comfortable and appropriate for your injury and lifestyle. Custom braces are measured to the exact size of your body part giving you the optimal support and protection. Most braces are covered by health insurance companies but may require a physician referral for reimbursement.

Custom knee braces through DonJoy, Ossur/CTI and Breg can all be measured and are usually available to the client within 2 weeks of assessment. Once the brace is manufactured and available for the client Karina will ensure that the brace fits properly and educate the individual on its use and wear. In addition, she is also well educated on many off-the-shelf braces and can either fit you with something that is on hand or help to find you the optimal product, order it and have it shipped to our facility for you.
